 HAVE A LOVELY SUMMER HOLIDAY!!

Topics:

Our topic for the Spring Term is 'Why did Grandad not have a playstation?'  We will be reading a range of different texts in Literacy lessons such as newspaper reports from the year that we were born, information books and many more.

We will be finding out about toys from the past and about people such as Neil armstrong who landed on the moon. In design and Technology we will be designing and making moon buggies.  A topic web with more information will be sent home.

Events:

We will take place in the weekly 'Let's Celebrate' assessmbly in which children will get certificates for good work and behaviour.
A child with exceptional manners will be chosen each week to eat their lunch at the 'Top Table' with Mrs Lightfoot and other staff members.

Diary dates will be available shortly!

Homework Packs:
The children who have signed up for the weekly maths homework packs should remember to return them every Tuesday morning to be changed for a new pack. If your child is enjoying the pack you can keep it for another week.

The Gardening Gang

Mrs Wyper and the children are working with Mrs Crank and the Reception children on a project to achieve a Royal Horticultural Society Gardening Award - so far they have achieved Level 1 - well done!!
